Pedro Fonseca is a writer, advertising professional, photographer, blogger, digital influencer (although he rejects some of these titles) and a whole lot of et ceteras. But among the countless occupations of his restless mind, the role of father is ever present. And he decided to share a bit of all this, with all his poetry, with the whole world. He created the website Do Seu Pai (From Your Dad) and writes to João, Irene and Teresa whenever the mood strikes, whenever something touches his heart. And he ended up touching a lot of people. The texts gained more readers, followers and admirers. The project deserved a record. Printed, tactile, holdable, with the smell of ink. That is when we were invited to lay out the book Do Seu Pai and take on the challenge of putting on paper what was already so well done on every kind of screen. The work was done together with the author, in record time, following a very direct brief: “Do whatever you want. I trust you.” The result is below, in a small, exclusive print run from the crowdfunding project Pedro created to make the idea happen. Here’s to the second edition.
